We all often hide behind a mask in fear of ever showing what we truly feel inside. Penelope has lived her life no differently, always masking her own emotions in order to uplift those around her. Most would never have a clue as to how broken Penelope has become.. But it’s not their fault, she just chooses to hide her depression, self-loathing and anxiety, not realizing that hiding these feelings for so long has allowed them to fester and begin to rot away her sanity.
